Volunteering as an IT/Web Monitor with U3A involves maintaining our website, supporting committee member laptops, and providing general IT support to members of the organisation. It is a vital, non-paid role, often involving website updates, troubleshooting, software installation, etc.
Key IT/Web Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Website Maintenance: Updating content, ensuring functionality, and managing local U3A Shoalhaven website.
- IT Support & Training: Helping with computers, laptops, tablets, etc.
- Committee Support: Assisting with technical aspects of the day-to-day operation of the organisation (e.g. MailChimp comms)
- Committee Membership: Attend monthly committee meetings, provide monthly reports to the committee members, etc.
